HOUR OF 13 - NEW SINGER TO MAKE LIVE DEBUT THIS SATURDAY IN NYCNorth Carolina doom sensations, HOUR OF 13 will be returning to New York City this Saturday at Cake Shop for "An Evening of Doom and Magick." If the fact that this was yet another rare US live appearance for the band, the night will be made even more special by the debut of their new lead singer.This mystery man has been a part of several well regarded doom acts and has a voice that will fit snugly into HOUR OF 13's recognizable sound. HOUR OF 13 guitarist and founder, Chad Davis had this to say about the impending debut of the band's new frontman: "HOUR OF 13 could not be more pleased with the dedication and amount of work our new vocalist has shown. He is a valuable  talent to have in the band. He is a vital presence that we were needing in the fold and thanks to him, we are stronger and more focused than ever."HOUR OF 13's new singer will make his official debut with the band this weekend in New York City.  Only 100 tickets are being sold for this show so act fast or you will only ever hear the tale of how momentous this occasion was.

HOUR OF 13 recently released audio of the new singer at a recent band rehearsal. HOUR OF 13's management released a statement saying: "The reason we let those audition demos out on theobelisk.net was because we were so floored by what we had come into -- how the new guy was owning it. We wanted to let Hour of 13s fans know that not only would the band be able to keep going, but that their best is still ahead.
